Percentile Rank Calculator
A percentile rank tells you what percentage of a data set falls below a particular value. A score at the 80th percentile is higher than about 80% of the scores. This calculator sorts the data, counts values below and equal to yours, counts half of any ties, and highlights where your value sits.

Is a percentile the same as a percentage score?
No. Scoring 70% on a test is about marks; being at the 70th percentile means beating about 70% of people.
Why count half of the ties?
It places a value in the middle of any group of equal values, which is a fair, common convention.
