Math Solving Space provides free maths calculators, solvers and guides for learning and checking work.

Results are checked, not guaranteed

Every calculator checks its answer a second way before showing it, for example by substituting a solution back into the equation. If a check fails, the answer is not shown. Answers found numerically are labelled Partly checked. Even so, mistakes are possible, and the way an input is read may differ from what you meant, so always look at the steps, which start by showing how your input was read.

Not professional advice

Nothing on this site is financial, engineering, medical, legal or any other professional advice. The compound interest and growth calculators, for example, are maths tools only: real accounts can have fees, taxes and changing rates.

Rounding

Decimal answers are rounded, usually to 8–10 significant figures. Exact forms such as fractions, surds and multiples of π are shown where possible.

Homework and exams

Use the step-by-step working to understand the method, then practise without the calculator. Follow your school's or exam board's rules about calculator use.

Report a problem

If an answer looks wrong, use the Report a problem button on the result or email contact@sixanchorlabs.com.
